Foals – Spanish Sahara
TuesdayBuilding houses is not something happens all at once… it’s made by mancraft, stone after stone and with the time you can imagine how it’s gonna look like and how it’s gonna feel like inside. At the beginning you have the plan and time passes by and you can open the door and walk thru you new home – same for this track!
This is the first cut out of the new Foals’ album ‘Total Life Forever‘ coming out this May 10. At the beginning the song goes and goes and suddenly it builds and builds to a amazing sounding castle and ends in an orchestral hocus pokus. Supported by a dreaming world of images this track surrounds my heart by a warm foam.
One is the loneliest number [exhibition]
MondayZero is the absence. Two is complement or destruction.
But one…One is the summary, the purity, the essence.
One is the loneliest and truest number existing. When we are alone, we get in touch with Our truth. Escorted by ourselves, we have the opportunity to take the threads that shape our inner world, and tangle or dissolve them as we prefer. Read on…

FridayThe Bloody Beetroots strike back!
Thursday
Once again our buddy BOB is firmly supported by Phonz Says Black and ourselves, diedlastnight.com.
Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo has officially begun his 2010 world tour presenting his new project where electronic music meets the good old strumental life-on-stage performance. Are you ready for it?
At the same time Bob launches his new video clip: DOMINO.
“DOMINO” comes from a typical Venetian Carnival costume, explains Bob, a robe with a black hood and a white mask. He has chosen this title to introduce the first BBDC77 anarco-musical army.
DOMINO is music, cinema & photography. DOMINO is also a revision of history. DOMINO destroys Nazi iconography to turn into Anarchy… pure ANARCHY.
“I live in this world and I firmly believe in the autonomy and freedom of the individual”, says Bob.
DOMINO will come out on 23rd March, anticipated by the short movie you can check out on http://www.deathcrew77.com/
If you’ve got a weak heart and they wouldn’t let you ride the craziest rollercoaster at Magic Mountains you ain’t ready for tonight’s monsterblast! See ya!
Vampire Weekend – Giving Up The Gun
Tuesday‘Contra’ is really a great follower to their selftitled ‘Vampire Weekend’. This is the second official music weekend coming out and again suberbly made.
Directed by The Malloys, the video features cameos from Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers, Jake Gyllenhaal, Lil’ Jon and RZA of the Wu-Tang Clan.

TuesdayTheophilus London – Humdrum Town
MondayDon’t get blinded by his name ‘Theophilus London’, he is not Londinese but comes straight from NYC, Brooklyn. We love this song and it reminds strongly of a West Side hip hopper who got shot in 1996: Lesane Parish Crooks aka 2Pac.
This style of “Soul pop new wave hip hop” is kind of fresh, britsh sounding and brookblyn based. Theo’s musical chops bridges hip-hop, indie-rock, and electronica while he is pointedly avoiding any pit-stops in disco rap.
Opening Ceremony for Vancouver
Sunday
2 days ago the Olympic Games in Vancouver officially started – sadly to report a first death in a sport where a sport has to walk a fine line between entertainment, risk and spectacularity.
We celebrate our Olympic Games musicwise and selected some fine tunes all coming from Canada – a country were bears and salmons are home and good music seems to be find on each streetcorner.
Coeur de Pirate – Comme Des Enfants (Le Matos Andy Carmichael Remix)
Caribou – Odessa
Chromeo – Fancy Footwork
Arcade Fire – Rebellion Lies

ThursdayThe American Indians believe that animals appear in our dreams as messengers of the great spirit. The moment you realize the kind of animal you saw in your dreams that animal becomes your protective spirit and you’ll inherit all it’s skills: strenght, wisdom, agility and PAAAAAAAARTY!
The Wolf I’ve seen im my dream came straight up to me and said: dude, you’ll celebrate your 30 years honoring the great spirit Wakan Tanka, or I’ll use your soul to wipe my a**.
Therefore I want all of you to dress at least one thing that relates to Native Americans: fringes, feathers, braids, bandanas, face paintings, jewellery, knuckle-dusters, axes, etc.
