Makeriet studio and art collective - issue 130
In 2007 the former sausage factory Medina was with help from a bunch of drifted and ambitious people tuned into a spot for creative activity, the studio and art collective Makeriet.
Today Makeriet houses a couple of studios for young talented artists, a fully equipped radio studio from which the non-profit webradio Radio Skranglebass is broadcasting aswell as rooms with diffrent types of installations and arts.
Radio Skranglebass was born in 2006 and has since been playing thousands of hour of norwegien aswell as international electronic music, focused on what you can hear on the European clubscene, but also more underground tracks that you normaly would not be able to hear on the radio.
Diedlastnight came to visit both the studios and the radio last week when they as usual had a good time with live sets from the well recognized Bergen djs Tilt, Urv and Mostly, straight out in the ether!
