One is the loneliest number [exhibition]

Monday, March 1st, 2010

Zero is the absence. Two is complement or destruction.
But one…One is the summary, the purity, the essence.

One is the loneliest and truest number existing. When we are alone, we get in touch with Our truth. Escorted by ourselves, we have the opportunity to take the threads that shape our inner world, and tangle or dissolve them as we prefer. (more…)

Once again our buddy BOB is firmly supported by Phonz Says Black and ourselves, diedlastnight.com.
Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo has officially begun his 2010 world tour presenting his new project where electronic music meets the good old strumental life-on-stage performance.  Are you ready for it?

At the same time Bob launches his new video clip: DOMINO.
“DOMINO” comes from a typical Venetian Carnival costume, explains Bob, a robe with a black hood and a white mask. He has chosen this title to introduce the first BBDC77 anarco-musical army.
DOMINO is music, cinema & photography. DOMINO is also a revision of history. DOMINO destroys Nazi iconography to turn into Anarchy… pure ANARCHY.
“I live in this world and I firmly believe in the autonomy and freedom of the individual”, says Bob.
DOMINO will come out on 23rd March, anticipated by the short movie you can check out on http://www.deathcrew77.com/

If you’ve got a weak heart and they wouldn’t let you ride the craziest rollercoaster at Magic Mountains you ain’t ready for tonight’s monsterblast! See ya!

SIM30FLYER

The American Indians believe that animals appear in our dreams as messengers of the great spirit. The moment you realize the kind of animal you saw in your dreams that animal becomes your protective spirit and you’ll inherit all it’s skills: strenght, wisdom, agility and PAAAAAAAARTY!

The Wolf I’ve seen im my dream came straight up to me and said: dude, you’ll celebrate your 30 years honoring the great spirit Wakan Tanka, or I’ll use your soul to wipe my a**.

Therefore I want all of you to dress at least one thing that relates to Native Americans: fringes, feathers, braids, bandanas, face paintings, jewellery, knuckle-dusters, axes, etc.

Friday 12 February from 10:30pm
@ La Sacrestia, vi Conchetta 20

We’ll dance around the bonfire till the break of dawn with:
Fabee – Red Rainbow
Phonz Says Black – Heel on Fire & Sea Tiger
Giandisco – Wise Moose

Urban Velodrome Party – Join Us!!

Friday, October 9th, 2009

uvp_flyer

We are in the middle of this year’s BFF @ Milano. I see lots of bicycles in a non-bicycle city – the best attribute to change this situation. And what better than shout out loud and celebrate together. And the best…you crash the party with your bicycle.

The Urban Velodrome Party is delighted to have YCHT, dj KAOS and Cashmere as their guests. YCHT, YACHT or Y4cht – however they wanna be named – is the new member of the DFA crew, joining with glitched-out pop dance experiments that neither digress into monotonous beats nor get weighed down by vocal filler.
According to the mission on TEAMYACHT the band is kind of a superdupper everything: Jona Bechtolt, brain behind this, describes YACHT as Band, Belief System, and Business…twelve catchy songs with addictive beats and positive, memorable lyrics – on the new SEE MYSTERY LIGHTS.

come and join us:

YACHT (Live) – DJ KAOS + CASHMERE
IED Moda Lab, Via Pompeo Leoni 3 (zona Ripamonti) > guarda la mappa
Dalle 23:00.
Si entra in bici, ingresso € 10.

Florence And The Machine – You Got The Love (The XX Remix)

Monday, October 5th, 2009

Both are coming to Milan the next week: Florence And The Machine, Oct 16 at Magazzini Generali and The XX, Oct 18 at La Casa. Both bands influenced the recent music scene – FATM with her amazing and particular voice, The XX with their amazing and particular sense for avantgarde music.

florence_and_the_machine-flakes

The XX is one of the recent band where you listen the whole album and discover new songs daily – you have preferences, but then you switch to the next and the next is good as the last and so on. In general, I would consider The XX the Joy Division of our time, with a great sensibility for music and combine and structure different types and genres.

So why not getting a promotion 2 in 1!!! Listen to this great cover/remix version of You Got The Love
