For one night an incredible Rock ‘n Roll dj set and live-tattooing by Massimo Gurnari turned this place into a hell of a club. Thanks to Eleonora Carisi, Ivan Cazzola and the wonderful Torino crew for making this happen!

Friday, June 25th, 2010

For the very first time in Italy The Baseballs blasted an incredible show last night. Basti, Sam and Digger set the stage on fire with their Fifties-style cover versions of some of today’s most famous tracks. A great show in which nobody could keep their legs from shaking. Not at least we thank The Baseballs and Gianluigi De Rosa for supporting Phonz Says Black!

Blazing Art Stars conquer Rome

Thursday, May 13th, 2010

issue069

Which place could be more appropriate than Rome’s historic shop Blue Marlin to host the presentation of Polo Jeans Co. ART STARS project. After being shown at Milan’s Rinascente the big Art Star n.7 designed by Sten & Lex is now shining in Blue Marlin’s window beside’s the new entry Art Star n.25 by Italian artist Microbo. For an entire night Blue Marlin changed it’s purpose tuning into an amazing set for the Art Stars vernissage. Every single corner and detail of the shop was carefully handmade by the owner himself Fabrizio during 30 years of research and collecting of vintage items, textures and materials creating a unique vintage atmosphere. By the way it happened to be his birthday the same night: Auguri Fabrizio!

Chérie’s Tree House – issue 068

issue067_0

The 5th edition of the Chérie’s Tree House was hosted by the gentelmen of 247 Showroom and Soda Studio.

A delightful market which aims at promoting young designers, artists, and vintage collectors. A very various crowd enjoyed the tasty buffet offered by Lattughino while sneaking through the market shopping hand made lamps, jewellery, hats, scarfs, shoes, indy collections and selected vintage. Youg talents and visitors where reunited in a hearty atmosphere while a great line up of DJs pleased us with good-vibe-tunes. People couldn’t resist shaking theire booty and amazing amateur dancers showed their teeth on the dancefloor.

What else should I say…once again the most beautiful market in Milan.
