Lindsay’s Private Video

Tuesday, December 15th, 2009

For the Italian “Muse Magazine” Lindsay shows her best erotic side. Lindsay and the britisch Petey Wright are full in action in front of the photographer Yu Tsai and it seems the two had fun.
The whole scene remembers me at a remake of the liason of Kate Moss and Johnny Depp in the 1990ies.

By the way > Ida Gronblom & Fabian Berglund

Thursday, December 3rd, 2009

Ida Gronblom & Fabian Berglund are both from Sweden and came first to attention to the offices when they stuck life-size photos of themselves pressed up against the outside of office windows to show how keen they were to get in.
Not much later they got the job at Wieden + Kennedy. Wieden + Kennedy is one of the biggest ad agencies world wide, pretty much known for having clients like Coke.

And in the meantime, Ida Gronblom and Fabian Berglund, had this amazing sideproject under the radar by collaborating on We Have Band. The two from the W+K London office tag-teamed the new We Have Band video You Came Out by shooting a stop frame animation of face paint. If you want to see all of their 4816 photos, click on their flickr page here.

We Have Band – You Came Out

Thursday, December 3rd, 2009

We Have Band are probably the most story related band ever. The three met eachother working at music major EMI – and as office jobs sometime make pain, they decided to set up “We Have Band”, but not playing under the major EMI, instead the band came out on finest indie record label Kitsune.

The song “You Came Out” is one good example of why such band would not fix into majors: because they are rough, not super clean in voice and rythm and not really mainstream driven. But on the other way around you could say, that this kind of music is maybe the new mainstream.

Why mainstream? This music video is directed by David Wilson (Blinkink Production) in very special collaboration with Fabian Berglund and Ida Gronblom from Wieden + Kennedy. Wieden + Kennedy is one of the biggest ad agencies world wide working for most of the world’s biggest companies. EMI+Kitsune+Wieden + Kennedy: seems a perfect composition to attract more personal consumer attraction, by creating a perfect story to tell.
